The fat-free version contains 57 calories per 100 grams, of which 10.3 grams protein, 4 grams carbohydrates and 0 grams of fat. Classic Greek yogurt contains 96 calories per 100 grams. This variant further contains 9 g protein, 3.8 grams of carbohydrates and 5 grams of fat. Most types of Greek yogurt contains 10 grams of fat and around 130 calories per 100 grams.

What is the difference between plain yogurt and Greek yogurt?
The classic Greek yogurt tends to have a fuller and creamier flavor than regular full-fat yogurt. The classic Greek yogurt contains more fat than regular full-fat yogurt. Initially, you would think that regular yogurt would be a better, more healthy, choice. After all, it contains fewer calories and less fat. However, that is not correct. Disadvantage of Greek yogurt
The disadvantage of Greek yogurt is that it is more expensive than regular yogurt. In particular, the non-fat variants, are at least twice as expensive. There can also be found cheaper Greek yogurt different brands but you should try and decide whether you like the taste or not.

Greek yogurt is easy to eat. Indeed, it is already very tasty without additives. In addition, the yogurt can be mixed with granola and fruit.
