Will BitCoin Derivatives Make For A More Stable Market?

Derivatives will make for a more stable liquid market, right? Or will the "derivatives tail wag the Bitcoin dog"?

Question is, will it turn into a huge bubble like the current derivatives bubble that is about to detonate and kill the world? What would keep that from happening?

I could see futures contracts... But anything else... might be a bit scary long term if not regulated properly.

Bitcoin will behave the same way as precious metals after an economic implosion, the price of bitcoin will rise even if derivatives are associated with it. At the moment the silver and gold marked is leveraged anywhere between 50 or 100 to 1 and possibly much higher and this is all derivatives exposure. If the derivatives of silver and bitcoin implode the price of the underlying asset will shoot up in value. I think it's good for bitcoin but I wouldn't recommend you hold anything other than real bitcoin, gold and silver when the world economy turns over, because it will be turbulent.

If people around the world accept bitcoin then the stable market forms for bitcoin.
